Before you make a thread, know what you want to talk about.
You can't plan to make a thread about depression but talk about something entirely different in the thread itself.
    -
There are a series of many topics before you post it, however, make sure you know where to put it.
    - Choose your community [English, Spanish, ETC.]
    - Choose what it has to do with;
    1. Discussions
    2. Off Topic
    3. Modules
    4. Tribes
    5. Forum Games
    6. Suggestions
    7. Fanart
    8. Map Editor

I personally usually make Off-Topic threads and occasional Suggestions.
You don't necessarily have to be known for one thing, you can have a whole variety - as it's your threads, whether you take inspiration from people or not.

You do not have to add pixels in your threads.
Anything I talk about in this thread - except the actual rules are optional.
    -
I personally believe you should choose small pixels that don't distract the reader from the topic.
When I first started making threads (which have been deleted), I had a lot of pixels.
It is your thread and you should be able to decorate however you want, but too many pixels may come off obnoxious.
I recommend limiting one-two pixel per tab or per section.
I also recommend having simple dividers to separate your information.
    -
You can find your decor through DeviantArt or Tumblr.

If you're making an inspirational or informative thread, please have the correct information.
Do not make up the numbers.
You are talking to the reader, so they're going to believe you (naturally).
If you make up your own information, you are spreading false information/accusations.
Use reliable sources and put more effort into your research.
