*credits to atelier801 for the thread (i wasn't the one who came up with this idea! i just thought it'd be nice to do it on this forum, as well!)
*original atelier801 thread
• SAY "CLAIMED" IF YOU'RE CLAIMING THE USER ABOVE YOU, AND BY THE WAY YOU MUST CLAIM THE PERSON ABOVE YOU, IT'D BE UNFAIR IF YOU WERE JUST POSTING TO BE DRAWN AND THE PERSON ABOVE DIDN'T GET CLAIMED AT ALL!
• Draw the user above you! Don't claim a user five spaces above you, draw the user directly over your post. It wouldn't be fair if someone didn't get a drawing.
• In order to be drawn you must include a reference to your mouse in your post. How else would someone know what you look like otherwise?
• You must really draw, photomanipulation does not count.
• No inappropriate content!
• Be patient! Besides, what have you got to lose if the person doesn't finish your art.
• Please draw the person you have already claimed before claiming someone else. If you claim a lot of people and accidentally forget someone, that isn't fair to them.
• Remember everyone's art style is different! If you don't like the art someone did don't whine about it. We are all here to have fun.
• ONE LAST THING BEFORE I MOVE ON, PLEASE DO NOT POST THE DRAWING SEPARATELY FROM THE POST WHERE YOU CLAIMED THE PERSON ABOVE YOU. SIMPLY EDIT THE PERSON YOU CLAIMED THE PERSON ON, AND THEN PUT THE FINISHED DRAWING IN THERE! I DO NOT NEED THIS THREAD TO BECOME A DISORGANIZED MESS.
• actually here's the LAST thing i wanted to add since i thought it'd be necessary... but if a person (let's use a sentinel for example) comments for reasons other than the thread, you are free to just direct your message at the person who was before the sentinel. now for another example, if the person just says "claim" and doesn't provide a mouse reference, you're free to skip them. this also works if they don't exactly follow the rules like told to, so this also applies if the person provides a mouse reference but doesn't claim the person above. this DOES become troubling if the person edits their post, however. especially if you already started on the person's before them art. please don't fret if this happens, it isn't your fault, it's the person who made that mistake and they'll have to delete their message and post again. my apologies if this is a bit too strict, but it's what needs to be done in order for this to be organized.
form to provide the person who claims you!
