I. Be nice to everyone. If you have a problem with someone, report it to an EN Staff member or do not speak with them.
II. EN Staff have the final say. Whatever they say goes. Do not argue with them.
III. Micromanaging or modding is intolerable. If there is a conflict that arises, contact an official, instead of handling it yourself.
IV. Respect the team. You may wish to joke around with them, however, do not take things too far.
V. This is an English only Discord server.
VI. If someone is removed from the server, please do not involve yourself in their matter and issues.
VII. Hateful speech or slurs are unacceptable.

Many of you may remember Training Grounds, but we have reconstructed the server into something much bigger & better than ever before.
We have made some changes we believe are desirable and effective in helping train minds into what makes a good staff member of any staff team.
In Training Grounds, the goal is to learn the qualities of a good staff member, such as factual things like reportable content & the workings of our jobs.
! NOTE: Entering Training Grounds does not 100% mean you will become a staff member. An application is still required to join any team.
ENTERING THE SERVER
Upon entering Training Grounds, you will be greeted by a single channel: #welcome
A message will be displayed in the chat by a Bot, and you will be automatically given the New Student role.
"Welcome to Training Ground @username. A member of the EN Staff team will message you shortly, asking for a simple question.
Afterwards, they will review your response and determine if you may become a student or not."
Any staff member will message you, ideally as fast as possible, and ask you a question as stated in the message above.
The staff member is not allowed give you an answer to the question, and there is no point in attempting to cheat to get into the server.
A variety of questions are asked to each individual, meaning you probably won't be given the same question as the person before you!
If you answer the question you are given correctly, you will be given the permission to see the rest of the server.
If you answer the question you are given incorrectly, you will be banned from the server for 1 MONTH.
Every month, the bans are cleared and you will be able to rejoin the server and attempt to join again.
After you are presumably accepted, you will see more channels, and be granted the Student role.
You are required to read ALL of #rules-and-guidelines and hit the green check-mark to show you accept and agree to the terms applied.
If you don't hit the green check-mark after 48 hours of entering the server, you will be removed from the server and will be able to apply next month.
BASICS
You will be given a choice of 5 major roles to choose from after joining, these roles are:
Training Moderator | Training Sentinel | Training FunCorp | Training MapCrew | Training Fashion Squad
You are required to choose a role within 48 hours, otherwise, you will be removed from the server.
To acquire a role, you will need to go to #roles and hit an emoji to choose a role. You may choose multiple.
! NOTE: Be aware that you are expected to be active in every position you have. Choose positions you are capable of training for.
TRAINING
Once you gain a role, you will be able to access more channels related to the position you chose, all will look similar to this:
#[position]-info - Relevant info to the position you have chosen to train for.
#reports - A place you can report things relevant to the position you are training for. **Training Funcorps do not have this channel.
#assistance - A channel to ask questions relating to the role you are training for, such as questions about reports. All positions have this channel.
Staff members will call you out if you make a mistake during the learning process, but this is to help you progress & should be seen as a sign of growth.
We will be keeping a close eye on you, helping you out where you need us to be, and making sure you have all resources that are necessary.
Don't be afraid to join and talk with us and other applicants.
#common-room is also a channel where you can communicate with others in the server. We'd appreciate large activity in here!
Don't be shy. We love seeing healthy activity in everyone who joins the server and we enjoy talking to you all.
There is A-LOT more to discover inside Training Grounds, but these are all for you to find if you decide to join! We encourage that you do!
