If it was easy as getting a therapist and taking pills I wouldn't depressed, not trying to be rude at all but doing most of the stuff that we're told to a lot of it doesn't help. Just yesterday I lost a friend to suicide this person had 2 therapists, she was taking multiple antidepressants, not to be doom and cloom but it's bound to happen
Please note: this is what I was afraid of, people who have suffered from stuff like that complain it don't work.
As a person who has never suffered from depression but has been interested in helping others with it, I'd like to explain my thoughts.
-
- Antidepressants -
Please note; antidepressants don't work for many.
In fact, there are multiple articles explaining it.
-
"Why Antidepressants Don't Work for Treating Depression."
-
"Why Antidepressants Don't Always Work and What Can Make A Difference."
This doesn't mean antidepressants doesn't work for everyone, it's just a majority.
-
- Therapists -
There is a huge chance of people over-looking therapy, or it just flat out not working for many.
I think the reasoning behind this is because you're not getting the answers you want, you're not getting the results you want and it's just not working in plain general.
I totally get it, I guess some therapist aren't as professional as some therapists are, there's always a way of working that out just be researching plans / questions to help things like that.

There are things you can do if therapy isn't working.
Here are some solutions.
-
Depending on how severe your depression is, not everything works.
And it'll always be that way.
Nobody has the perfect solution to depression.
Nobody will always have the perfect ending when it comes to depression.
I'm sorry if this is just bull-crap you don't want to hear / things you don't understand / pointless words that don't add up.
But this is what I believe.
-
I am also very, very sorry for your loss.
